Bannikin worked with Curve Lake First Nation to co-create a Tourism Branding Strategy drawing from a growing tourism offering being created by the community. The goal of this project was to engage and learn from the people, community, and land that makeup Curve Lake First Nation’s tourism offering to identify Curve Lake First Nation’s tourism vision and value statement.

Key project phases included:

  • Project Initiation, Management, and Communications;

  • Community-Based and Market Research;

  • Brand Co-Design and Strategy Development;

  • Implementation Planning and Presentation.

Across the project, Bannikin worked with Curve Lake First Nation’s Band Council and the Economic Development Committee members, as well as the community members, industry members, partners, and other stakeholders.

Outcome

This project resulted in a tourism branding strategy for Curve Lake First Nation inclusive of a brand package to guide a uniform brand visual image, including but not limited to logo designs, imagery, colour palette, fonts and brochure design and packaging inspirations, along with brand visual design guidelines. The tourism branding strategy also outlined how to leverage key marketing channels to activate the brand.
