Project Case Study
The Explore Elliot Lake Tourism Initiative involved extensive community engagements activities and resulted in the destination’s first tourism strategy. The project was supported by a Tourism Working Group established by the City and prioritized diverse research and engagement activities to gather input, perspectives, and learnings from local tourism businesses, community members, neighbouring First Nations, potential funders, municipalities, and tourism partners, among others.
