Services: Content Development
January – June 2023
The County of Haliburton engaged Bannikin to co-develop six advertorials for media placement in local outlets. Designed to support the larger Resident Sentiment Survey project by way of communicating the results of the survey, the advertorials also provided information about the concept of community-based tourism and its positive impact on the region at-large, the importance of the visitor economy in building a sustainable destination, the role of the office of tourism when it comes to supporting local businesses and the community as a means of increasing and enhancing year-round visitation while also improving the quality of life for residents, and high-level information on the Destination Management Plan that is guiding all of these activities and initiatives.
