Santiago Adventures has been in operation since 2003, experiencing a steady growth rate throughout. However, Brian Pearson, Santiago Adventures’ owner and founder, was looking to expand the company’s presence in the North American market.
In May 2012, Santiago Adventures contacted Bannikin with the intention of developing relationships with a targeted group of custom trip planners, travel agents and tour operators in select Canadian and US markets.
Bannikin supported Santiago Adventures in its launch of a new website and brought in a number of new partners focused on reselling the operator’s itineraries, primarily those for wine and cycling.
In order to meet Santiago Adventures’ sales goals, Bannikin undertook the following activities:
In two years, Bannikin worked to increase Santiago Adventures sales by nearly 20%. A project with long term implications, the team secured multiple legacy buyers for Santiago Adventures, including several Canadian-based luxury tour operators.
Bannikin developed relationships between Santiago Adventures and a number of leading North American luxury tour operators.
